Right now, I use two webmail addresses, one online calendar application, one to-do list application, and two different programs for desktop email. This is aggravating, but I can't find one productivity application that does everything I want.
Here's what I wish I could find -- one program that does all of the following:
*allow me to update to-do lists from my desktop, whether or not I have internet access, and sync those lists with an online mirror of my to-do list when Wi-Fi becomes available. Also, vice versa: online additions to the to-do list should add automatically to desktop whenever desktop is open and internet is available
*have a calendar with the same function: back-and-forth online/offline syncing
*manage multiple email addresses without requiring some kind of stupid logging in and out
*sync webmail to what I've done on desktop mail -- if I send an email from desktop mail, it should show up in my webmail "sent" folder, if I flag something in desktop mail, it should be flagged in webmail. also, of course, vice versa: replies in webmail would write to my desktop sent folder, etc.
*work reasonably well on, e.g., a blackberry
I'm not a programmer, so I don't know why someone hasn't invented this program already -- probably it's incredibly hard to get, e.g., something like Outlook to tell your Yahoo mail that you sent a reply to email X. Still, why isn't there at least a mobile-friendly calendar + to-do app worth using? Srsly.
